Course Overview

The course will provide guidance on how to produce an Instagram parliamentary digital communication campaign. It will look at template story boards which have been successful and will how best to communicate political themes such as civil duty, public engagement and campaign progress through this new platform.

The course provides a template on best practice when using Instagram to promote stories. It will illustrate the best types of imagery politicians can use to promote their work in the community and in Westminster. The course will contain editorial guidance on how to link up existing stories with other social media platform to gain maximum attention from followers.
